update on my 2025 bingo card!
Hello Life Simplifiers!
If you have followed along here you might know that at the start of 2025 I decided to jump on a TikTok trend I came across and created a Bingo Card for my 2025 Goals.
I wanted to share some wins and some things I learned along the way!
I divided my goals into two big buckets, personal and professional.
Personal Bingo Card-
I have some big goals this year, I found it best (for me) to divide them into quarterly cards. (I always think of the phrase, How do you eat an elephant? One bite a time!). This was a big win for me as a year long goal seemed a bit to easy to put off until later. I broke down those big goals into quaterly actionable steps and found some great success with that strategy.
I wanted to share some of my wins with ya’ll. Some of these are kind of personal so please be gentle!
Go on 3 hikes (goal of 12 over the year)
Average 10k steps a day
No Marshalls, HomeGoods or TJ Maxx (this was shopping for entertainment, not clients! ha!)
Read 2 Books (I have a goal of 6 over the year)
Organize 1 section of my garage (I need to hire myself to go through my garage, but until I have that big chunk of time… its one bite at a time)
3 Barre classes (crushed this goal! woooooo)
Organize my mater closet
Go on my annual hot springs birthday trip with one of my besties.
Go on a solo date with each of my kiddos
monthly dates with my guy.
Some goals I rolled over into quarter 2
Update my filing cabinet
Declutter and organize my son’s closet (got to the rest of his room, but not the closet)
Meditate each day (I think I can count on one hand how many times I did this, I have such a hard time sitting still!)
Rewards:
I got 3 Bingos over the quarter and had a range of small rewards (a coffee from my favorite local shop, shout out Forage Coffee in Medford), to a big quarter end reward of new walking shoes!
Lessons Learned:
You do not have to be perfect (ugh, this one is HARD for me). It is about progress. I made more steps forward with this system and goals than I would have without it. It doesnt matter than I didnt meditate perfectly, 5 times is better than none.
My biggest win was my routine of going for a walk. If you are my client I’ll let you in on a little secret. I often get to my clients house early, park down the street and walk through their neighborhood. It is so refreshing to get some new scenery and set my mind up for success for our sessions!
My professional Bingo Card is set up for the whole year, and I can see a big difference in how I attack those goals. With out the help up breaking those action items into smaller chunks I have had to strategize differently.
Some Wins:
Doing a brand photo shoot, this was so outsite of my comfort zone, but I am so glad I did it!
Find a long lost item (I am looking at you birth certificate, don’t worry I am not going to name names)
Hit 500 instagram followers (I will never be, or want to be, an influencer but I am so grateful for any time my business grows.
Do a guest blog, more to come on that soon!
Still to come:
Go to the How to Summit in September!
Post on my blog regularly
Do a talking social media post (ugh, this is WAY outside my comfort zone!)
It is not too late to make yourself a bingo card! Do it for a month! For the rest of 2025! Whatever you can! Set yourself some goals, and don’t forget the rewards! I made sure the rewards aligned themselves with what is both realistic and truly a treat for me.
Make it simple and have fun attacking those goals!
Choose Simple,
Sarah
